Resilience, flexibility and ingenuity.
These three words perfectly describe Festival de Lanaudière’s experience in the unprecedented year that has just gone by. Here is a look back on 2020, for your quick reference.

February :

Major change in our team—François Bédard announces his retirement after 29 years as Director of the Festival.

March :

Quebec enters a confinement period. An unforgettable Festival awaited audiences and tickets were selling fast. Just like you, we were in mourning of the loss of our summer activities.

July :

Festival de Lanaudière goes “connected,” broadcasting 15 memorable concerts on the web. These generate more nearly 55,000 views from all over the world! Xavier Roy makes his entrance as the Festival’s General Manager.

September :

Quebec begins to de-confine … and the Festival launches its “Notes d’automne” (Autumn Notes) series! Our leading Canadian orchestras and soloists make their initial return to the stage. Audiences are moved to be reconnecting with live music.

Today :

Today, the future looks bright for the Festival! Your support enables us to be more dynamic than ever. “Music, sweet music” will resound powerfully at Lanaudière in 2021 … and it’s all thanks to you!
