A word from the excutive director !
On behalf of the entire Festival team: Happy Holidays! Over the past year, our team has shown creativity and resilience beyond measure. Throughout this extremely unusual time, we upheld a single priority: you, our valued audience. We hope to have appeased your anxieties and offered some escape through “music, sweet music.”
As always, our cherished public will remain the focus of our work in the coming year. Projects abound at the Festival, and we very much look forward to sharing them with you. One thing is certain: it will be a privilege and a great pleasure to reconnect with you in person at a live concert in 2021. More than ever before, music will powerfully resound at Lanaudière!
A word from the artistic director !
The year which now draws to an end has been turbulent, difficult—it has, in one way or another, put a strain upon us all.
Despite shared hardship, beyond the uncertainty and the upheavals we continually face, brightness and comfort continue to shine through, and I have witnessed many examples of resilience, solidarity, and humanity. We have only to look around us.
Art—and music in particular—is like an umbilical cord that connects us all with the rest of the world. Even while the absence of live performances leaves a void, we continue to move forward with strength and optimism to a heartening (and not too distant!) future, filled with beauty, warmth, and human connectedness.
I wish you bright and happy holidays.

1. Album: Vincerò!
Piotr Beczala, the “Prince of Tenors,” offers up some of the most beautiful arias of Italian verismo. Supercharged emotions and stylistic finesse come together as one. An essential recording!
For your comfort and listening pleasure this holiday season, we have a magnificent archived concert in store for you. It will be available online from December 25 to January 5 inclusively. Be sure to tune in!
